Responsibilities & Priorities
Hi All,
Walking out of the doors from my job last year was one of the happiest days in my life. I had no idea what the upcoming year was going to look like, but I know what I wanted to pursue. With my location closing, I felt like I was given a gift.
This year has been incredible in so many ways, it has been life changing and seeing and feeling growth in my personal development each day has been amazing. This year I worked and pushed hard because I believe in my purpose, I believe in my passion and I believe in It Takes 2 (IT2) Youth Leadership Institute. This is my purpose in life, this is what god has put me on this earth to do. Whether it is being an OWN Ambassador, an OWNer, Blogger, Arbonne Independent Consultant, PR Director, Publicist, Mentor, or a Coach, I have worn every hat with love, and passion.
Being lead by one of the greatest teachers has been incredible. Derrick Shirley embodies everything I strive to be, and his ride across Canada represents just how much passion he has for something he believes in so much. IT2 has brought together some of the most passionate people I have ever met. I am so proud to be a part of this organization.
Why we need support, and sponsorship/partnership is because there has been hundreds and hundreds of hours invested in IT2, and without funds we are challenged to build IT2. Although my attention has been mainly on IT2, I need to refocus and look at my priorities.
My heart and soul tell me that I belong with IT2, but my reality is like everyone else I have responsibilities. So with this, I have accepted a position with a Pharmaceutical Company. It feels bittersweet, it will be nice to have a regular income, however my heart is with IT2.
If you are an individual with pull in your organization, please let us know. IT2 is a preventative organization where we teach youth life skills, confidence, nutrition and a whole lot more.
